The Rev. Arthur P. Ritter – Senior Minister

The Rev. Arthur P. Ritter has been the Senior Minister of Meadowbrook Congregational Church since August of 2007. He lives in Novi with his spouse Laura and their two dogs. Art and Laura have two adult daughters.

Art is a native of Stanton, Michigan and a graduate of Alma College and the United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities. Before Meadowbrook, Art ministered with Congregational churches in Toulon, Illinois, West Bloomfield, Michigan, and Salt Lake City, Utah.

Art is a lifelong Detroit Tigers fan and enjoys watching any kind of baseball game. He likes reading history and biographies and playing trivia.

Colleen Foster – Director of Christian Education

Colleen Foster has been the Director of Christian Education at Meadowbrook since 2006. Prior to becoming the director, she served on the Board of Christian Education and volunteered as Church School Superintendent.

Colleen lives in Novi with her husband Scott, son Harrison and their pup Romeo. Her daughter Sherilyn is a student at the University of Michigan.

Colleen received a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Michigan and a Master of Arts degree in Teaching from Madonna University.
Colleen enjoys riding her horse Freeway, reading, knitting, scrapbooking and going to U of M football games.

Abbie Holden, Office Manager

Abbie Holden has been the Office Manager at Meadowbrook  since April 2014. Prior to this she was the Office Manager at the Northville Historical Society at Mill Race Historical Village, and an Office Assistant for the Northville Record and Novi News.

Abbie has a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology from Michigan State University and spent college summers doing archaeological digs in Michigan.

Abbie lives in Northville with her husband and son. In her spare time, she enjoys scrapbooking, genealogy, traveling and reading historical fiction.

Marcus Peterson, Director of Music, Bass/Baritone

A native of West Bloomfield, Michigan, Marcus is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance with a Teaching Certification at the University of Michigan. He currently sings with the U of M’s Chamber Choir and Men’s Glee Club. Marcus has performed throughout the U.S. and Europe in various choirs and operas. Prior to his studies at the University of Michigan, Marcus graduated from Walled Lake Central High School.

Marcus enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
