Meadowbrook is proud to be a distribution site for Zelphia’s Community Kitchen, a Novi-based, non-profit organization that supplies food to people in need.  Once a month, Meadowbrook hosts a drive-up distribution on select Saturdays at noon. Along with the bi-monthly distribution, Zelphia’s is offering a new food program for Senior Citizens. The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) works to improve the health of low-income persons at least 60 years of age by supplementing their diets with nutritious USDA Foods. Click here for current income eligibility guidelines. Completed applications must be signed in person with Zelphia’s staff. Please be sure to bring a government-issued ID. Once submitted your application will take 2-3 days to be approved following which you then qualify for CFSP distributions through Zelphia’s Kitchen. Approved applications are good for 3 years.
