Sunday School

Sunday School meets each week throughout the year. During the school year, there are three classes: Preschool/Elementary, Middle School and High School. All of our volunteers comply with Meadowbrook’s Child Protection Policy.

In the Preschool/Elementary and Middle School classes, we use Spark curriculum. Each class begins with reading or hearing the story from the Bible and then learning more about it through games, crafts, drama and cooking.

The High School class uses a discussion format. A Bible passage/story is read and then there is discussion as to life applications.

Several times a year, the children and youth use their class time to work on service projects including making blankets for C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital, assemble care packages for Meadowbrook’s shut-ins and write letters/cards to our sponsored child overseas.

Nursery Care

Nursery care is provided for infants and toddlers. The children have free play under the supervision of adult caregivers. All volunteers are required to comply with Meadowbrook’s Child Protection Policy.

Middle/High School Youth Group

Pilgrim Fellowship or PF is the name of Meadowbrook’s youth group. All 6th through 12th graders are invited to participate. PF meets at least twice a month for dinner and discussion meetings, field trips, and retreats. Field trips have included playing laser tag, raking leaves for a shut-in, Christmas shopping for a family in need and Christmas caroling at a nursing home. Retreats are held three times a year at various Congregational churches throughout Michigan. Additionally, the high school youth are able to participate in the National Association of Pilgrim Fellowship annual conference.

Adult Education

Adult Education opportunities are offered throughout the year.  Check back soon for our Fall schedule.
